1. Yeah, it's worth 3.99.
But I suggest getting the DVD, the extras are worth it.

I like that movie -- lots and lots of action :-)

Have you watched it with the commentary on? Ole Lance can't hold his wine :D

3. I noticed that. (Warning Spoiler)
And the explanation at the end as to why the Queen attacked the Predator despite the fact that he was caring a baby alien left a lot to be desired.

12. Directors explanation:
Edited on Sun Mar-06-05 11:11 PM by brainshrub
Aliens do not kill hosts with baby Aliens inside them. But at the end of the movie, the Queen turns the Predator into a shish-kabob.

The director said words to the effect of: "Well, it was through the abdomen, not the chest." (paraphrasing)

Like I said, the directors explanation was a bit wanting.

13. It's not less logical than a lot of the rest of the movie
I wish producers would worry about the writing as much as the effects.

Especially since the story wouldn't have to be modified SO much to make more sense.

4. It's the last stop in the decay of the Alien franchise
But if you are an Alien lover like me you still have to see it.

I just consider it a fan fic on film, and don't ever think about in the context of the Alien universe.

9. AVP has been around since the 1980's
Edited on Sun Mar-06-05 10:33 PM by 7th_Sephiroth
it was an epic comic book series fox had 2 great movie monsters, and dark horse had the comic book rights to both, they said "hey these two would be good in a crossover." In Pred. 2 in the predator ship, there is an alien skull on the wall, too, these charaters were created in the same universe

11. Yup - I knew that
I just mean that I find so much fault in the movie that I just choose not to believe it's part of the narrative of that universe.
