i think my nose is broken

i got bashed in the face in a bar fight last week and it still hurts.

3. Not much you can do about it.

The doc might give you some pain meds and recommend surgery to correct the deviated septum if you can't breathe through it after you've healed, but other than that it's no big deal. Take some ibuprofen to keep the inflammation and pain down, and wait to see how it heals.

By the way, the time to set it was the day you broke it. It's a goner now, just live w/ the fact that you're gonna have a crooked nose...To fix it now, you'll probably have to break it again first or have surgery.

8. i was at a bar

anyway, doing some good daytime drinking and there's only like 4 dudes in there and they are all thugged out gangster types.

anywho, i suss that they all know the bartender (a very comely irish-looking girl) and there is revelry all around (i found out later the whole lot of them had been up all night drinking).

anyway, about 20 mins into it, they decide it is a private party and lock the door. things going well, they practically ignore me.

after about 45 mins, the toughest (and drunkest) of them shambles over with his baggy clothing and shaved head and chats me up.

i find out what gang they belong to and it is one in which my cousin is a member. i mention this. they have a beef with my cousin. so out of nowhere, a fist lands square in my face. these kinds of things don't register with me when i'm drunk and i stand there with a "huh" look on my face and the guy who punched me (i think he threw his best shot) just kinda looks at me. he goes in again and i throw an open hand around his throat (while jumping around to avoid blows) to get him on the ground (i'm not much of a fighter). anyway, his friends break up and they buy me a shot.

all of us ended up drinking together.
