I like Alexander (Alex) or Max. William is another classic name, though not as used anymore. Also Ian is cool, as is Simon. Both popular in the UK.

For girls I like Erin and Katherine (but not Kathy, no offense to any Kathys, just don't like that).

We shied away from anything that was trendy OR extremely popular (like John, David, Michael, Michelle, Kathy, Kim, etc.).
