Doc has scheduled me for a colonoscopy tomorrow at 7:45 AM. Boy, this prep is wonderful -- computer -- commode -- computer -- commode -- and I don't know which one has more SH** in it right now!

No particular reason for the screening, just that I asked for it (I'm 65 years old and might have had it at 50). Funny, I just saw a promo for Katie Couric who must be doing a feature tomorrow (?) on colon tests for women (we get way less of them than men do!)

Anyway, I get my "conscious sedation" (great terminology, isn't it?) tomorrow morning.

Good vibes would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

I've had one of those suckers (and am overdue for a second). The Versed they gave me was wonderful - I saw my blood pressure on the monitor, commented that it looked good and then knew nothing until they said, "Okay, you're done!" I was almost angry with the doctor because I didn't feel anything and accused him of not doing the procedure! You should be just fine.
