6. Not Much to Do this Year
I was an unemployed schmuck all of last year and exhausted my unemployment the year prior to that.

Finished my tax return this morning so that I could file for the double homestead exemption allowed here in JOklahoma to those 65 and older and those with low incomes. That had to be filed today. Go figure. Isn't it convenient that the homestead filing is based on tax return data and has to be filed a full month before income taxes?

7. Believe it or not, I am messing with state income tax from 2000
The state is apparently being aggressive about collecting its fair share...I worked in Minnesota that year, though I was a Wisconsin resident (the states have reciprocity) I paid taxes in both. Wisconsin wants the Minnesota share. So does Minnesota.
