The thundermonster is coming

It just started raining here, with long rumbling thunder. It made me remember back to when my daughter was little (ok, she's only 9 now), she would say that the thundermonster was coming.

8. I remember when my son was 4, my daughter two

She fought back, and he didn't know what to do. I heard screaming...found her on the floor on her back, legs wrapped around him, squeezing. He was so pissed, screaming "Let me up!"...I just laughed and told him that he should have listened when I warned him that one day she'd fight back.

Now, she's a trip. She's all about Barbie and Hello Kitty, but she can kick the ass of anyone who messes with her. Not that she's needed to. Her big brother's policy seems to be that only HE can whip up on her.

It must be a younger sibling thing. It's often my 4 year old who is running away from the altercation in tears.

I live in Brazoria...in a trailer. The thing is, I'm almost in Harris County, and have learned that unless they issue for Harris as well, i'm generally OK. I'm busting out the weather radio now.

Tornado warning...Possible winds of 60 mph, golf ball size hail...Should be in my area in the next 15-20 minutes. Jeez!

No spotters have seen one on the ground. So it is just a severe storm that can produce one. So you have time.
