I got food poisoning yesterday

I had brunch with a friend, and by the end of last night, I had throw up three times, had the chills and was burning hot at the same time, and I still feel horrible :cry:

BUT it gets even worse than that. My partner was shooting his film for school last night and this morning, and I couldn't/can't help. It seems hes a bit mad at me, but this whole situation is outta my control.

I feel awful in more than one way...

1. Gosh that sounds awful.

Sorry that your partner isn't more sympathetic. I doubt that you decided to start vomiting and run a fever just to inconvenience him! Hope you feel better.

3. He's just stressed cause its his film and I promised I'd help

and now he's down a crew member. I can't help it, last night I was getting dizzy and began sweating profusely when I was standing for too long. This morning I feel like I have a really really bad hangover. I feel bad that I can't help, but he was snarky to me when he left, and it just made me feel even worse. I wish he was more sympathetic too, but hes just in the heat of his film...

4. Yea, hes usually really caring and understanding

but hes in the throws of shooting, so his mind is focused on other things. He just managed to make me feel worse than I already did!

5. Yes, you had a case of food poisoning.

I ate at a sub shop once and they kept the mayo at an unsafe temperature. It hit me quick (within 5 hours) and it flushed my system in ways I won't elaborate on here. It lasted six-eight hours. I went back to the place to complain but it was shut down and never reopened. I bet everybody that had a sub with mayo on it that night suffered the same fate as I.

6. I still fell pretty crappy, almost 24 hours later

When you eat something bad, you usually know cause it just doesnt sit right. The only question I had was which way it would come out...lol

There must have been some other stuff going on that shut down that sub shop other than bad mayo.

Make sure you call the place and let them know. The last time that happened to me I actually called the health inspector. He went out and inspected the place and they had several violations. I didn't feel even a little bad getting them in trouble.

11. Other than water

I haven't had a desire to put anything into my mouth yet. I think in a few hours ill try to muster up enough energy to get the the deli and get some bread.
