Cutie Newborn Kittens in the house!!! PIC HEAVY!!!
I've been fostering a pregnant cat for 2 weeks. Yesterday she had 7 kittens. Mommy and kittens are all fine. I thought I would share some pictures for all the DU cat-lovers!

When I called her and she didn't come, I checked her 'den'. She had given birth to 5 kittens so far. This is what I saw...

An hour later she had 7.

She stopped at 7.

Count the kittens!!!

The kittens in their 'den'. Isis is using the facilities.

This is the best close-up I can get w/ my cruddy camera.

A MUCH thinner Isis scarfing her food

She is a very sweet mama cat - this will be her LAST LITTER!!:D She'll be getting fixed in 2 months.

8. AAACCK!!! I'm not that crazy!
I might keep mommy (if I can get her to get along w my other cats). The kittens will be adopted out at 8 weeks, well prior to kitten season, so they'll go fast.

11. Cmon you know you want to.
Then you would only have like 20 cats. What's a few more? Of course your husband might move out.

yes, I got your message. I was talking to my Dad when you called. He was explaining to me that Dr. Dean Edell doesn't believe in I.B.S. (Irritable bowel Syndrome). So, apparently Dr. Dean has solved my medical problems. LOL Gotta love tv doctors.

A whole litter of Tiggers. How special is that! Thanks for sharing these with us.

Do you volunteer for an animal shelter? I used to foster cats, but when our family grew to 7, I couldn't foster anymore.

26. I'm a shelter volunteer that stays out of the shelter.
Way too depressing. I foster pregnant mamas, trap ferals and their kittens, and domesticate the vast majority. The creek I trap at now has only 2 unfixed females left in it (that I know of). I've gotten 5 females and 2 males fixed, and I've domesticated 22 kittens that were adopted out. It's a fun challenge. Our Creek kitties are quite LARGE.
