Is it a requirement for mailmen to be able to read?

It seems that my mailman has a hard time reading names. I'm getting other peoples mail in my mail box.

Not only do I get other people's mail but its been at least 2 days since I have gotten my own mail . Grrrrrr .

One time a couple of years ago , the mailman really messed up . He sent us a postcard for a man who lived in Chicago that he did not have to report to jury duty in his home town of Florida . Talk about a trip he would have had to take . Made a family project about it and somehow we FedExed the postcard to him to save him the travel .

Let me stop , the postal service does the best they can .
