LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are so sick of paparazzi and tabloids that they're creating their own reality series that tells it their way.

Variety said they've sold it to UPN, which plans to get this six-part series on the air by the end of May.

UPN will air the show on Spears' courtship, engagement and wedding to Federline.

Mostly it's video that Spears and Federline shot themselves. It shows them dating, falling in love and getting married.

Spears said she's turning the tables on the tabloids and revealing the truth about her love life.

On March 30, Spears lashed out at what she called "False Tabloids," writing an open letter on her Web site.

The tabloids are horrible, for sure, but headlines like the recent ones re: Brittney sell papers. If the papers didn't sell, the tabloids would pick on someone else.

to actual reality?

What happens on reality shows? Nothing that resembles any reality I've ever seen! Women wearing halter tops compete to eat horrendous things (which diet contributes to their being so unnaturally skinny) or transport themselves across the island in ridiculous ways.

In my reality, people dress up in "business casual" and shuffle papers and/or process data on computers. Then they meet for lunch and flirt. I understand that only happens in movies nowadays :P

Anyway, would Britney Spears recognize any objective reality if it bit her in the ass? Like the reality that she has no talent, and that everything she's ever done without a script has been a massive embarrassment, and that nobody would give two pins about her if she weren't an enthusiastic collaborator in her own commodification? :grr:
