Google Partners with Gore

Google has signed a deal to partner with Al Gore’s new cable channel, called Current, which will launch this summer. this might have something to do with Larry Page’s oblique comments about soliciting homemade videos. The Current channel will, as part of its programming, accept video submissions from users, and provide video production tools on its Web site. Google will furnish twice-hourly reports on popular current searches.
