Question for you all-knowing computer people!

Okay, I have a CD with part of my audition on it. I want to save one of the tracks so I'll have it on the computer (and make it accessible to someone). Is this possible? And if so, how do I do it?

File format? Video or audio? Continuous recording or discrete tracks? etc.

3. audio format.

The audio tracks were burnt onto a CD from the station. I'm assuming it's discrete tracks. (sorry, I'm obviously very stupid when it comes to this!)

2. Not quite enough information....

If you want a copy of the audition file on your computer, all you have to do is save it to your hard drive.

But, making it available to someone else (through file sharing, say) means that it has to be in a format which the computers of others can read. You don't mention what format the file is, so we can't suggest about that. If it's in .mov (quicktime) or .wmv (Windoze media player), something like that, others can view if you make it available for download.
