Auction of KKK items moves again over objections
HOWELL, Mich. - A planned auction of Ku Klux Klan-related items is moving for the third time after officials in Livingston County raised objections.

Gary Gray of the Ole Gray Nash Auction House in Howell said he now plans to hold the auction Sunday in the Lansing suburb of Mason. Fellow auctioneer Jeff Taylor offered the facility, 35 miles west of Howell.

"If people at Handy Township are uncomfortable, why not go where people are comfortable with it?" Gray told the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.

Gray told The Associated Press that his own auction house would have been too small for the sale. A January auction of similar memorabilia in Howell was packed with spectators and protesters.

1. Let 'em. But they're better kept in a museum as a reminder of
how vile our past was.

Possessions are one thing, but societal awareness has priority IMHO.
