1. I devoured an entire box of Rahat Loukoum at one sitting
when I was a teen (aka Turkish Delight). It was wonderful tasting, but afterwards I think that I've never been sicker in my life. I kept throwing up during an entire day.

7. It's a kind of gummy confection - softer than gumdrops
It usually comes in bars inside a box. It's flavored with fruit flavors, or sometimes even flower flavors (roses or lemon blossoms, for example) and covered in powdered sugar. I've seen some that have nuts or other things in the them, but I like the plain ones better. If you like gumdrops or jelly beans (which I do) you would probably like it. It's a popular treat throughout the Mediterranean, Greece, North Africa, Turkey, etc.

i think 7th_Sephiroth should send me some.
i like fruit flavored candies. i make a lot of fudge at christmas time, and i make a white, sour cream fundge that i put different fruits in, including citrus peel. most people don't like it, but those of us that like it, love it.

10. Not the traditional Loukoum
The Turkish Delight I've had were made in North Africa. I guess you can buy Turkish Delight made in England that's made of corn syrup. But traditional Loukoum from the place where it originated was made with honey or grape molasses or a combination of both. And the flavorings are different. At least to my palate.
