2. Heretics!! All of them!!
Put them in the iron maiden!!
Putting in a sub for Freddie Mercury is like trying to replace Robert Plant with Josh Groban for Led Zeppelin. It just aint gonna work!

4. That is wrong on so many levels
Have no issue with Paul Rodgers and Brian May playing together, but to call the band Queen is pure blasphemy. Queen is not Queen without Freddy Mercury!

8. Exactly! Form a new band. Queen = Mercury
I like Brian May, but I'm pissed off with him at the moment!

9. It would be like
(if Freddy Mercury were still with us) putting Freddy Mercury in place of Paul Rodgers in Bad Company and still calling it Bad Company...wrong wrong wrong

6. That's Paul Rodgers!
From Bad Company and The Firm!? That Paul Rodgers?
Well, I'll retract my previous post about halfway. Still, I wouldn't call it Queen and there was no other Freddie. I hope this something new and not like "Queen Reloaded" or something.

13. I was going to say that, too, but I feared getting flamed...
Not trying to read too much into it, but the last song on the last album Queen released before Freddie died was titled "The Show Must Go On". Freddy knew his time was almost up, and their last few albums had a whole bunch of subtle notes like that.
Who knows? If they sound great, I'll enjoy them. They won't be Queen, but hey...
