3. Lithium is also used in unipolar depression.
I took Lithium for about six months about six years ago, to prevent me from "taking two steps back" in my recovery from a severe depression. It helped somewhat; I did fully recover, but I'll never really know if it was because of Lithium.

Me? I live with it. I cannot get any medical assistance and I cannot afford meds.
