OK, we were snowed in for sure yesterday. This morning I measured 16" even when I went out to shovel my way to my mailbox. Here's what it looked like at 4pm yesterday afternoon. Probably a foot at this point, and then it snowed for another 3 or 4 hours:



But this morning dawned clear. It's already almost 50 degrees, and I'm having some major avalanche action coming off my roof. Anyway, here are some photos I took this morning before everything started melting.

In a park nearby. I think the lump at the snow family's "feet" is the family's snow dog?

There's quite a few damaged trees in the neighborhood, but this one chose flexibility
over breaking. (A good lesson for all Dem psyches in these BushCo times.)


The blooming trees appear completely unfazed. If anything, they look happier with the moisture!
