American Idol thread

Now... good show! I'm new to Idol - just started watching a few weeks ago, but what a great "challenge" - songs from the year you were born.

I was pretty skeptical when they said Constantine was doing Bohemian Rhapsody, but he was great. Freebird, Love is a Battlefield... good songs tonight.

Scott Savol sorta sucked. I think the bottom three tomorrow will be Scott, Anthony and Anwar.

3. I can't believe I'm saying this, but

Constantine's growing on me. His song choices have been fearless. Turns out, he was faking that dumb pretty rocker boy thing. He knows rock, and show music, and old music, and bubble gum pop -- all of it.

Anwar is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen, and he has a beautiful voice, but I didn't think tonight was his best night.

I think the bottom three will be Nadia, Scott and Anthony, and Nadia or Scott will go. Scott just wasn't on his game tonight, and he knew it.

I thought Carrie was awesome on the Pat Benatar song, especially after that bad show tune week she had. She has the best voice of the girls, but she's much less polished in her performances than the others.

And of course, I love my Bo. He won't win, but I just love him.

Anwar is gorgeous (and gay! - I saw a link to his gay personals website last week), but I don't think he's really all that talented. He's sufficient, but he's just lacking something.

Constantine IS fearless, and he makes his choices work. "I Think I Love You" sealed the deal for me.

I love, Bo, too. I think he'll go far, but probably not win. Right now, I'd have to pick Constantine to win.

I don't like Constantine. Sorry, Dook, but something about him annoys me, like the proverbial fingers on the chalkboard.

Aye yi yi. You should have seen Constantine WRECK the Black Crows' Hard to Handle. It was a travesty. He should have been booted just for that.
