I'm at the Library and it's Story Time
These kids are just the cutest things.

Mothers come in with three or four really little kids and then they all start running around. Until the story time starts and then they are all really good.

I wonder why we all like a good story?

1. Our town library is so small that running around would be very difficult
Well, it can be done, but there would be much bumping into of furniture and people and whatnot.

But it's a beautiful old library. I prefer them to modernistic ones.

2. These kids are about two and three so they are really wild
One of them just hit another one. So one kid is screaming and the other one is going home for being bad. I don't know how these young mothers keep from jumping off a bridge.

3. Here come the new babies - don't you wonder what they
think about?

4. Heheh. But don't you just love the way they look? Big eyes, open mouths
as if in awe of everything and trying to suck it all in.

I _almost_ miss havng babies around just thinking about it. But then I think, "Hey, I'm still getting up all hours of the night with my 5 year old and I would like to sleep again someday." *lol*

5. by the time you are able to sleep late again
you won't want to anymore. I used to routinely sleep until noon. Now that my youngest is grown, I sometimes sleep until the luxurious hour of 8:30 ...

6. Now everyone is crying all at once.
And yes, these kids are so cute. But I don't know how these mothers ever make it out of the house. One young woman here has a brand new baby, a darling little girl about 2 and a boy that looks maybe three or four. And they are all going in different directions - well except the new baby.
