Attn. MI DU'ers
Did you guys get any snow this weekend? I have heard back and forth about it.
Just wondering.

1. I'm down in southern Ohio
and we got some light snow last night. I've never seen snow this late in the spring and I've lived here since I was 4.

2. I have a friend in the Flint area
and he said last Thursday that they were expecting snow (upwards of 5 inches at the time). I joked around and said that I would rather have the snow than the tornado warnings that I was getting at the time.
Now I feel sorry for him.

3. What really makes it bad
is that we have had a couple of eighty degree days already, just last week. I was joking with a friend in Colorado who said that April can be their worst month for snow. I told her that if I saw snow here in Ohio after an eighty degree day I'd start looking into moving to southern Arizona. Looks like I'd better start looking for jobs in Pheonix.

5. We've had freeze advisories in Missouri
after a week of 85 degree days. I covered my vegetable garden and all of my flowers but I do not know if they will make it or not.

And that is the produce that I live off of in the summer(pretty much everything that I live off of in the summer). So I might be looking at high grocery bills in a few months.
Maybe I will not have really hot days this summer and can at least save money on the a/c.

7. We have been so sullen about the snow
that we shut ourselves in and refused to go outside or pay any attention to reports. Its all just too depressing. We hit 80 degrees last week for crying out loud.

I need a hug. :(
