Okay, so I'm back. For those of you wondering if I was the one who breached security at Boston Logan, you're in for disappointment. :) I did, however, see 4 states yesterday and the airline lost my luggage. Guess that's the price I had to pay for having such a great trip. :shrug:

Where the hell to begin? Thank you to ALL the wonderful DUers I met and spent time with over this awesome trip. Especially sniffa, ET Awful, freebird1, and Kathy. These guys opened up their futons, air mattresses, and made me feel quite at home.

Thank you to those of you I flirted with, kissed, and fondled. I sincerly apologize (okay, that last part is pretty much a lie). :evilgrin: Now, unfortunately, it's back to the real world for me. But ah, the memories I brought back! :D I love you guys!

We walked soooo much that day! Not only did we do the whole trail, but we doubled back halfway through and went further than it ended. Needless to say, we were both a little tired! The Trail is awesome and it's a reallllly good way to see all the historical points of Boston. I'll post my pics when I get them developed, but ET took some WONDERFUL ones!

And yes to the graveyards. We went to Sleepy Hollow in Concord, the Old Granary, and the other one (sorry, really drawing a blank this morning). They were all soooo cool!

and being displayed shamelessly! Been to the RenFest twice, saw my brother as one of the bad guys (he's one of the minions of the Sheriff of Nottingham :thumbsdown: )

I'll have to start a RenFest thread. I love hanging out in the 12th-17th Centuries. I got a new noble costume and high boots. I can be in the boots in 30 seconds instead of 20 mins.

Yes, I've stopped being a luddite; I now own a combination printer/copier/scanner. Pics will follow. ;)

39. Last weekend

esp. Sunday was windy and cool. We set a new low temp record Sunday morning, the high was 56F. I wore my cloak, and I wished I put on my leather Plantagenet vest, but I thought that I'd be doing the slow-roast by afternoon. Little known fact, most RenFest clothes are fully functional, not just for looks. That was my main shopping weekend. All set for the next weekend.

Mom is improving slowly. She still gets tired easily and her heels hurt (likely a side effect of the medication). She still gets around to church and her taichi lessons. I don't think she'll get to the RenFest this year.

I see you didn't do too badly in Boston even if your clothes stayed on. ;)

40. The weather was odd.

When I left Tuesday it was like 70 then it got cold. Glad you were able to bundle up! :) That sucks your mom doesn't get to go this year, I'm sure she was looking forward to getting out. Is she still using the walker?

And um..... I won't have a comment about clothes staying on. I'll just be persecuting myself.
