I think Skinner was absolutely right about how it has become a tool for use by different warring factions. I think it was placing way too much stress on the admins to have to constantly deal with all the public complaining.

I for one, am not sad to see it gone. I think it's better that people relay their complaints through private channels, instead of using ATA as their own drama queen forum.

So different people with different agendas cherry-pick locked threads or deleted messages and post them in the ATA forum for the world to see, often accusing the admins and moderators of outright bias or censorship in the process.

I know that this was not the original intent, but this thread is almost entirely efforts to foist blame.

Nobody deserves the blame for this. We have been considering shutting down the ATA forum for nearly a year now.

If you want to blame someone, blame the admins.
