Ever have one of those "I'm dancin' as fast as I CAN!" dreams...
...about your job?

I did last night. It was horrible. Machines just kept coming into the shop like Sorcerer Mickey's buckets of water from "Fantasia"...

I think what triggered that was that I was out of town for a week at a semminar, and the backlog/backlash since I got back has been so intense that I told someone yesterday "It's nice to be so damn important. I just wish my paycheck reflected that fact..."

That, and I read an article in the AARP magazine that left me in a sour mood. So 61% of men my age haven't been laid in 6 months or more. Glad to know I'm not alone...(not.)

1. Something similar...
...I had recently started with my current employer (lo, those 11 years ago). I was still in trainee status, and hadn't been trained on the automation system yet, so I was still doing things manually. I had a dream where I was swimming in the ocean, and suddenly, the water turned into a sea of paper and it started pulling me under. :o
