any bloggers here? would appreciate your input on programs

I have a frames-style web site (link is in my signature line) where the home page is pretty much a blog and other pages get occasional updates. Thinking of switching over to a blogger program but know nothing about them. A search in google for "blogger program" comes up with a lot of choices. Could you please comment on what to look for and what you do or don't like about some of these programs? I see a comment on one that it doesn't allow going back to make changes, another comment that "the blogger program is down" (so the program actually goes through some other server or something?) I have very little technical computer knowledge BTW; I know some HTML code but a family member set up a style sheet and gets any new pages web-ready. Is much technical knowledge needed to get set up?

1. I've set up Blogger a few times

and it's pretty easy as long as you know how to FTP or get your family member to set it up. Blogger

On my main site, StarCityPunk, I put Blogger in a table and used a php include to place it on the page. That sounds more complicated than it is. If your family member can set up style sheets they can easily do that too.

Another option if you have someone good with setting scripts up is CuteNews it's placed on your server and is easy to add articles to once it's set up.
