All my favorite music from the 90's is cool again!
This has been looking like a pretty crappy decade for music, besides some new pseudo-punk, but now my favorite 90's artists are coming out with new CD's again. Woohoo!

Garbage, Beck, Moby, Foo Fighters are all coming out with new albums. Its almost like having a real alternative music scene again. This makes me feel less out of touch but somehow old at the same time. eh

5. Thank you
You live in a great state for folk music, which I also love.

2. I've always said that with music (rock, pop, etc.),
each decade seems to suck until about the middle, gets good for 3-4 years, then sucks again for a few years.

6. I think the 90's were good for the first few years
Then music sucked for almost a decade until now. We've finally got some good new styles hitting a large audience again.

9. I guess that makes me a
dirty young man.
If I start listening to Postal Service will I be able to pick up young punk girls with piercings? ;) Actually, I do like their stuff. They remind me of ELO.

10. That was such an excellent album
I like them better now than I did in the 90's. I got burned out hearing them on the radio all the time.

17. If only they will get any
attention form msm now as opposed to the 90's when they got a little. I hope they bust the scene out and set the state for another '92 scenario where one of them comes on out and says it like Kurt Cobain did. Homophobes, racists, and sexists can shut the fuck up again for a little while. To think, the "ists" are the ones in charge right now and some of us are feeling it. Do you think music culture (pop culture) and politics are intertwined or is that one of my conspiracy theories based on a book I read that was actually a real military training manual on how to control the mindset of an entire country?
