My work is moving my office...
I'm going from a large cubicle to a 4x3 cubicle in another building w/o windows.

Do you think they are trying to say something?

I feel like Milton from Office Space...

1. Ooh boy. If your boss tries to steal your stapler, I recommend
you burn the building down! :D

2. I get moved every 2 years
they keep rennovating buildings here, and I'm always in the building that's getting rennovated.

3. Yea, that's generally true out here...
It's like a nomadic corporate culture. Most people don't stay in the same office for more than 3 or 4 years because there are always new building going up and old ones being torn down.

I think I've moved 4-5 times in my 6 years out here...

5. Been there, done that
Large office, small office, cubicle, cubicle next to the printer away from the windows. And yes, they were trying to say something, but they were so busy trying to say something instead of actually paying attention to the thousands and thousands of dollars being pissed away on consultants everyday that when Xmas rolled around and they had to let go of 90% of the people - they never knew what hit them.

Dumbasses.

8. The organization I work for built a big, beautiful building a few
years ago. Unfortunately by the time it was built it was not big enough so our department was left behind. Then the building we were in was sold so we were moved to an even smaller older building.
But no inferiority complex here.

9. I've moved offices 5 times in 3 years at this company
One company I worked for moved our department every six months, whether we needed to or not. I think it's a corporate conspiracy to keep you nervous about what little job security you may have.
