8. A few years ago, UCLA doctors were operating to seperate cojoined twins

from another country (don't remember which one.) savage said Americas shouldn't have to pay for foreigner birth defects. I had the radio on and he actually said, "let them die." He went on to say if it were his kids, he wouldn't expect another country to pay for their upkeep.

I believe that Savage is a farce, a phony, a fake.

Am I the only one that believes that Savage is out of step with today's brand of conservatism? :shrug:

He's a shock-jock, nothing more. Listening to his show is like driving by a car wreck...you know you shouldn't look but you just can't help yourself. He keeps you hooked by keeping you constantly wondering what the NEXT outlandish thing to come out of his mouth is going to be.

I've heard this guy rabidly promote one position one day, and when it didn't bring in the callers, rabidly promote the exact OPPOSITE position the next day...while pretending that this was his real position all along. I've listened to Savage sporadically for many years...ever since he was just a local radio hack at KSFO in SanFran. I've never taken the guy seriously politically, and I don't recommend that you do either. He's an entertainer, nothing more.

Here's what I don't get about him: Liberals hate him because of his endless nationalistic Borders/Language/Culture stance. Conservatives hate him because he endlessly attacks Republicans, the Bush's, Rush Limbaugh, the religious right, and every one of their sacred cows. Heck, just the other day I heard him attack Christianity and call ALL of the worlds religions "equally irrelevant". So who the hell is listening to this guy and giving him these astronomical ratings? He didn't get syndicated across the country because nobody listened to him, but I have yet to meet one single person...on EITHER side of the political spectrum...who actually had a good opinion of him.
