My sixteen-year-old is here to visit and brought fudge and a lilac-scented candle which he graciously allowed me to open early.

It's Cheesecake fudge, with pecans and caramel.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my mother from my wedding. She is ALWAYS laughing, so this captures her just the way she is.

25. I don't have a picture of my mom readily available

and I doubt she'd appreciate me posting it if I did. So instead I'll post this.

It's a painting I did specifically for her last summer, when the Lilac bush in our front yard was in full bloom (Lilacs being her favorite flower.) It's hanging right now in her bedroom.
