An email from my daughter
Happy Mother's Day Everyone!

A great BIG Thank You to all the Mom's out there who have worked so hard to provide for their kids. Who have loved their kids and stuck by them even when you wanted to drop them off in the middle of nowhere and runaway. Thank you for not ever giving up during the hardest of times. Your hard work, true devotion, and endless love will never be forgotten. My mother taught me strength, courage, and how to be self reliant. For that I am forever grateful. I know I will never be alone in this world-I have my mom and my mom has me.

From the Mom-

To those parents who are pulling their hair out now because their teen is causing problems. Let me give you hope- there is light at the end of the tunnel. When she was a teenager I didn't see any light, but they eventually get it - if you teach them. It just takes awhile to process. It took a lot of tough love, it hurt to do it but I am so proud of her today. I had her in counseling, they gave up on her, they said she would probably be in and out of hospitals all her life---wish they could see her now, the most sensible and stable person her age I know.

5. Yes
sort of. I hate seeing my daughter being the parent. And she will never say a bad word about her mother because she thinks I will get her committed, which is not true. But it is not nice. They hate each other and we love each other. But she knows I do not need to be watched.
