how can i Listen to .mov fiLes
without quicktime? normaLLy, mov. fiLes wiLL pLay audio, just no video on media pLayer.... but of course, now that i've downLoaded audio onLy, they won't pLay. :(

1. QuickTime Alternative (Mediaplayer Classic)
Mediaplayer Classic comes with it and it'll also allow RealVideo, MPG2 and many more formats. It's the perfect alternative for all those players.

i can't instaLL anything on this 'puter - me no admin privy.

i was curious if i couLd convert the .mov fiLes or something. just repLacing 'mov' with mp3 or wmv corrupts it.

3. Yeah but you need QT or QT Alternative for that as well
tmpgenc will convert anything to anything, but it requires drivers and they come with QT, so without those drivers it can't convert.

And you need to install tmpgenc which is a slight problem as well...
