3. It's probably the most frustrating thing about DU

Almost as bad is when the message you replied to is deleted - but you thought it was a perfectly reasonable post. Then you're wondering if you were taken in by something, or if your views are objectionable to someone too, or ...

I titled my post:

I'm not trying to upset you, and I hope this isn't breaking any DU rules.



I wrote that the tone was quite hostile and with so few posts, the poster in reference here may want to reconsider his wording so others won't think he is a freeper if that is not what he is.




That post wsa deleted. But, there was a response to that post by the guy I was talking about that thanked me for the advic and did clean up the language. He said he wasn't offended, nor did he turn me in with the alert indicator.

Isn't that ironic. The very guy I was talking to appreciated my post, whereas someone else was offended!
