Outlook Express Question
I am having to send this crappy shorted out laptop back to Compaq so i can get a new one. This took four hours of demands, threats and long distance calls, but I am getting a new one for my trouble. The second time in less than a year that I have had a Compaq fry. I got this one in November. Thank god for Warranties.

My question is...Is there any way i can save my e-mails from Outlook Express and import them to the new computer? I have all of my documents and files backed up now down to my cookies, but I really would hate to lose my e-mails.

Help!:argh:

1. This works for me
1. Open Outlook Express, and on the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Maintenance tab, click Store Folder.
3. Highlight the folder location, and then press CTRL+C to copy the location.
4. Click Cancel, and then click Cancel again to close the dialog box.
5. Click Start, and then click Run.
6. In the Open box, press CTRL+V, and then click OK.
7. Click anywhere in the open window, and press CTRL+A, then CTRL+C.
9. Create a new folder. Open the new folder, and press CTRL+V

2. Try clicking "file" and "save as"
save them into Word, and put the word file on a cd. If you want them in your mailbox, email them to yourself after you've made the cd.

3. Thanks everyone!
I will be without a PC for about a week, but when I come back, I will hopefully have a machine that doesn't clonk out after 4 months!
