I hate it. Tell me that no one here thinks it's funny. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

5. Is that one of Takeshi Kitano's TV shows?
I do love his films.

2. Haven't seen it, Maddy, so can't give it an up-or-down vote --
-- but my guess is that your good parenting will greatly outlast it.

And down the road, that's all that will matter.

3. It has its moments.

I prefer raw unedited Japanese insanity...but sometimes the english dub-overs are pretty funny...in an adolescent kind of way.

8. Hysterical. And Exhibit A in my argument..
that America needs a channel of nothing but Japanese original programming.

I love the show, and I don't feel the least bit dirty watching it. It's like watching a live-action video game! :)

9. it's absolutely hysterical
Every faceplant is a new adventure in comedy.

You've got to listen carefully to the blather in the background and the surreal things people say just before they go splat.

11. Too funny. I was watching that about an hour ago.
Boulder Dash was impossible to pass for one guy. The boulders were filing down the path right after another. No less than five feet apart. There had to be about ten in a row coming down at once. Even the dude who pushes you out of the safety door got smashed a couple times.

12. love it. lightyears beyond anything america can produce.
there's an innocence and playfulness in these gameshows (even with the malicious american dubbing) that blows away the mean-spirited fear factors, survivors, and jackass shows on american tv. think of it this way, your kid could be watching worse, much worse. and considering the state of modern tv, he really can't be watching anything better. :7
