15. nice!
I've gone from Nick Drake to Rickie Lee Jones "Cloud of Unknowing" from her trip-hop album "Ghostyhead". After that it's Sam Phillips "Hole In My Pocket". Then Dionne Warwick "Do You Know The Way To San Jose"...and if I keep procrastinating hitting send you'll know the entire contents of this mix CD! :P

...that I haven't listened to in a while. I don't even remember which ones I have. If you said the titles I'd recognize them. I know that one of them has "Pink Moon" on it. I'd never heard of Nick Drake before that car commercial that featured that song.

This morning my office was empty (apart from me that is), and so I listened to Semele and Judas Maccabaeus by Handel. This afternoon one of my office-mates is back in so it's back to silence (apart from the financial controller shouting into the speaker'phone).

37. KPFA online
I live in Maryland, but I started listening to KPFA back in 2001 when it was the only Pacifica station openly defying the take over attempt of the network; it also was the only source for Democracy Now during that time, because other Pacifica stations had stopped playing it, I believe.

As a result, I stick with KPFA even during pledge time (like this week).

If I don't die or worse.. I'm gonna need a nap.
At best I'll be asleep when you get back.

I wanna see it when you find out what comets, stars, and moons are all about.
I wanna see their faces turn to backs of heads and slowly get smaller.
I wanna see it now.
