I hate coughing!

I have tried everything! Tea with honey, water, dayquill, cough drops, meditation...EVERYTHING! I WANT to stop coughing! Seriously...have you ever coughed so hard that your chest just ACHED!?!?

1. Hold a pillow up to your chest when you feel a cough coming on

I found it helpful to do that, and to bend over when I coughed. That eased the pain in my chest muscles.

It's the only thing that works for me, only instead of taking it every four hours, I chug it every hour.

I'm still trying to get a buzz out of it, but no luck.

It just works on your cough.

Make sure you're drinking lots of water, too - keeps that cough loosened up. And stay upright - well, if you're driving, that shouldn't be too difficult.
