on the death of her mother, Vivian Liberto Cash Distin, who passed away on May 24. Rejoice for Mom, who is free of all limitations now and spare a kind thought for Rosanne, who has had more than her portion of sorrow.

she's lost a lot of family in the past few years. Her step-mom (June), dad (Johnny) and one her sisters and now her mom.

Losing both parents in such a short span of time. Yikes.

I luckily met her once at McCabe's guitar workshop in LA where she performed. We had a mutual friend. She was kind and gracious and very sincere.

I'll keep her and her family and friends in my prayers. So sad that Johnny's not around to help console her.

And yeah I'll admit I have other, more selfish reasons for wishing Johnny was still around.
