Ever drop a large jar of strawberry jam on a tile floor?
It makes a big mess. A very big mess.

Little tiny pieces of glass, sticky glass, everywhere in my kitchen.

4. You'd think that the big jars would be plastic to avoid this kind of thing

7. They used to have plastic ones.
But the last time I picked up some jam they had a double pack of glass jars. I don't think I will buy them anymore.

10. I once dropped a bowl with a stick of melted butter
in my kitchen.

It was all over the front of the cupboards and all over the floor. My dog kept trying to lick it up as I was cleaning. We both kept slipping in it, too.

I had to put the dog outside and clean vigorously. I still found butter a couple of days later.

17. It got down in the tiles
so basically it didn't all clean up, hence the smell. :-)

15. Are you living my life?
I'm in an on-going battle with these "little f***ers" as I affectionately call them when my children are out of earshot.

13. Pickled jalapenos
I once dropped a half gallon glass jar of pickled jalapenos, packed by my father in law, onto a linoleum floor. Before I could get it cleaned up, the juice had eaten through the top layer of the linoleum. Nevermind the tear gas like effect of the fumes... dang those were some good peppers!

16. No but I did have a friend screw the cap down tight on a gallon...
of strawberry wine I was aging! Glass was imbedded in the ceiling and walls, half fermented strawberry goo was everywhere.

18. Once when I was a kid, my mom had me put out
a big bowl of tomato sauce on the dining room table. Well, I accidentally dropped it when it was about a foot and a half from the table, and something about the way it hit caused the sauce to launch from the bowl so that a fair amount of it ended up on the ceiling.

They never did get that stain out, they had to repaint.

19. No, but I have dropped a bottle of bright red nail polish
on the tile floor right before a party. I never did get it all off.
