My friend is on a safari to Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Tunesia). What should
she bring to trade with locals? I heard pens, lighters and cds are cool. Anyone have any other ideas?

1. I encourage your friend not to trade...
Why not let them enjoy their indigenous culture without shoving our western civilization onto them? People often wonder why "The West" is hated so much...

But I know, I know...if your friend doesn't do it, someone else will. So...let me recommend candy , popcorn, and other more disposable items...
