8. Sheesh. He's gay, he's straight, he's gay, he's straight
I would say the only rumor not started about him is that he is an alien, but given the whole Thetan stuff, he's pretty much started that rumor himself.

He's a Democrat. Maybe we should run him for office!

13. Works for me
I'm not as extreme as Cruise on meds--but not far from it.

We can start him out small. Say, governor of California. Then work him up to like mayor of a big city or something.

16. I'm not convinced my brother would be legally insane if not for meds
One of the meds they gave him made him try to kill me. They switched to a milder one, "hoping" that would be easier on him. They're just guessing. Meanwhile, he's forty-six, an invalid, and can't hold a decent conversation, and they can't honestly say whether the meds made him better or worse. All they can say for sure is the meds made them richer.

My mother's anti-depressants drove her blood pressure up, so they gave her meds to lower the blood pressure, and then more meds to relieve the anxiety the BP meds caused, and then different anti-depressants to counter the anxiety meds. We thought she was done for until she stopped taking them all.

My second cousin was killed in her fifties by badly prescribed meds to fight something they thought was wrong with her.

Not all psyche meds are unnecessary, probably. Probably. But a lot of them are.

18. Some of them
Some of them were well-meaning, educated, and very informed on the latest scientific evidence of all the latest drugs. Like the one that made my brother dangerously violent for a short time. The problem was the drug, not the doctor.
