Light weight Issues You Wish Business would think about
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 06:36 PM by Liberalynn
Okay most if not all of us (by the not all of us I mean the Freepers)would like corporations to clean up their enviromental policies, give fair wages to their employees, respect all genders-races-religions etc, make their products safer, etc, but what are some lighter weight issues you sometimes wish they would consider?

Here are a two on my wish list.

Clothing manufacturers- How about making more clothing for the in between type of weather. Like nightgowns for example. There are nights when flannel is way to hot and heavy but a short sleeved summer night gown would be a bit too chilly. How about a lighter longer sleeved gown? I've like found one in all the years I've looked.

Television Broadcasters- Saturday night TV - Okay some of us live sad, single, close to home lives, or other adults are stuck home watching their kids that night. How about programing at least something half way decent to watch for those of us not out partying on that night? Same thing for New Years. I know you can read books which believe me I do a lot of, take walks, rent a movie, but sometimes you just want to veg in front of the set, but heck there's virtually nothing worth watching on Saturdays, or NY's Eve.

1. Weekend TV is a huge wasteland.
You're so right on that.

Even if you're going out during the week, enough people have Tivo/VCRs that having actual NEW EPISODES wouldn't be so bad. I've been saying that for years, even when I had a life, LOL!

At least this weekend there's the TVLand "Good Times" marathon.

2. I used to love that show!
I usually end up watching House Invaders on BBC America on Saturday nights, but it is only a half hour, and I've heard they canceled it in Great Britian, and we are on the last showing of new episodes on BBC Amercia. It at least gave me some good ideas for home improvement and craft projects but it looks like now I won't even have that to watch. :(
