They tell me when to wake up. They pester me if I stay up late or sleep too long. They whine until I feed them, especially on Standard Time because it's an hour later (they never make the switch in October). I have to play with them after I take a shower, or else they taunt me by doing everything they know I hate for them to do. And reading or excessive computer use is prohibited. In fact, I'd better log off now if I know what's good for me.
