Mazin Writing Opus & Scary Movie 4 Source: Variety Friday, November 7, 2003

Dimension Films has hired Scary Movie 3 screenwriter Craig Mazin to adapt Opus from Berkeley Breathed's Pulitzer Prize-winning comic strip "Bloom County" and pen Scary Movie 4.

2. Berkeley must have tight control on the project
after all these years I can't imagine him just selling off the rights like that without some control.
