MENDOZA, Argentina (AP) - A female polar bear at
a zoo has turned purple after she was given a
special treatment for a dermatological problem.

The bear, named Pelusa, was given the treatment
for a skin infection and had to be separated from
her mate, Arturo.

2. I have actually had that treatment when I was a child..

My girl scout troupe swam in a jungle pond and got some weird parasite.. We all ended up gettiing buzz cuts and purple medicine..:)

The mothers all cried as the long ponytails were chopped off.. Military barbers had the technique mastered.:)

Whatever jungle rot we picked up, itched like nothing I have ever felt before or since :):)

We also had leeches on us.. Not a very successful camp out :)
