What were the names of your grade school crushes?
Larry. Brook. Steve. John. Only Brook (for a short time before Sherry took him away) and Steve returned my affection; the other two shamelessly preferred future cheerleaders to my shy, serious, bluestocking-like personality.

Tracey... um yeah that's it I guess.

Tony was hot, but I never crushed on him.

I had a major crush on him for years. He was my first kiss when I was about 8, I think.

8. Larry, Jack, Brian, Joey, Craig, another Larry ...
Gordon (yes, he was a dork and I was too ashamed to admit my secret crush because he was so dorky), David, and Patrick (Until recently I shunned all Patricks from my love-life because he was such an evil bastard. When he discovered my crush, he said I looked "neutered" :wtf: which is really weird because I'm kind of super-girly looking).

14. "Hi, I'm Larry, and this is my other brother Larry."
And BTW, that particular Patrick has no idea what he was missing. He probably felt "neutered" himself.

I feel... what's the opposite of neutered?:loveya:

9. Lucy Carol Moore
My crush from 1st through 3rd grades.
It was reciprocated.
The teacher had to separate us in class because we kept kissing.
I'm serious.

10. Duffy. And Jeff.
Sadly, neither one was ever aware of my existence.

I also had a junior high crush on a sk8r boy named Pierre (really!). I sent him a secret admirer letter and when he found out who I was he told all his friends that I was a dog and tore up my letter.

I got over it, though. And I was pretty nerdy then so I can't really blame him in hindsight. Thank God we all grow out of 8th grade. It would really suck to have to be an 8th grader forever.

21. On Edit: I looked up my former crushes just for fun.
Found one of them. He grew to be 6'6" and became a race car driver, of all things!

17. Candy, in 5th grade
She moved away on Friday the 13th. I had the biggest crush on her, and she was the most popular girl in class, and I never told her, because I was a big nerd and way too shy to say anything.

She broke my heart. I was heartsick for several days after she moved.

Curiously, I know the fates of all three--teacher, delinquint, sports marketing executive. I had quite the taste in men, didn't I?

25. There was only one who I remember...
It was in the third grade...his name was Terry Storm...

We were moving from Evanston, and on the last day, I chased him around the classroom and tried to kiss him...but he wouldn't let me...

There was one other much later...6th grade, IIRC...Donny Ott...

NO idea what became of these two..

We moved from that town as well....
