Poll question: Favorite offbeat actor
You know, the actors that play the weird roles, villains and the psychos. The fellas you love to hate, sympathize with, or the ones who just make you say, WTF?

Feel free to add if I have forgotten any! These guys are my favorites!

He was great on SNL. The way he was so obvious about the cue cards made it funnier.

21. Yes, it was pretty creepy, same director as Silence of the Lambs
More modern, with big business being the "Manchurian" part. Echos of Halliburton.

Not as good as the first, but certainly had an eerie atmosphere, and kept me on edge.

I love Johnny Depp in that movie, he is so quirky and jumpy.

on edit: Check out the movie "Around the Bend". It recently came out on DVD. He plays a father who is trying to make up leaving his kid at a young age. Great cast, Michael Caine is in it as well.

85. Well, I voted for Buscemi just as the poll was closed.
I love love LOVE Depp, and of course Walken as well... but if we're talking odd, then it's gotta be Steve.

86. He got a lot of votes.
I think Fargo was the first movie I saw him on, or remembered him in. That was just a great flick.

89. The late Lawrence Tierney made ALL of them seem like Frankie Avalon...
even the really good ones (Dafoe, Walken, Buscemi, Stockwell, Sinise, etc...)

But Tierney really was a psychotic sonofabitch 24 hours a day

I almost wished that presidential campaign site was legit for a moment. It would be interesting to see a debate.
