@#$% it! How do you cut something out of a pic in PhotoShop!!!???

I just want to slice an image out of a picture to paste it somewhere else! Does anyone have a link?

1. If it's significantly different in hue or saturation...

from the rest of the image, use the magic wand tool and use shift to select additional pixels; otherwise, use the rectangular selection tool or the freehand selection tool. Once you have the selection you want to make an image of, use cut or copy, then open a new image, paste, and save...pretty simple, really.

should be right next to the magic wand on the toolbar.
