Oh damnit to hell... just shoot me now....
My bride to be (in 6 weeks) loves "Desperate Housewives"... while I am giving her the benefit of the doubt considering what a solid person she is... I can only hope that this too shall pass. I cant think of a much more fucked up commentary on todays society than that show.... Bunch of neurotic ******.... fuck-em....

5. lighten up a little - you may be right, but....
a little tolerance and acceptance will keep you from talking to lawyers, shrinks and splittin' community property a lot more than bein' "right"...it's not like your gonna be perfect for the rest of your life...

7. I hope for you that this is the
biggest problem you ever encounter in your marriage! It is a tv show for crying out loud. I am very grateful that I am not judged by my addiction to HGTV!

I hate 'em. Been married 17 years.

It's only a TV show. :)

9. 3 of my friends LOVE the show... I have yet to see it.
Hell, I just got into CSI a few months ago.

It sounds like trash... I'll check it out at some point in the future.

12. Clearly, the two of you need counseling.
Because, if this is how you are going to behave every time her opinion differs from yours........I see years of remorse.

14. STOP NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE...

...and reevaluate your relationship. It might seem like a minor thing now, and easy to overlook, but in ten years one of you might snap. Seek counselling at a minimum, and don't keep loaded guns in the house.

16. That's right! People who like annoying shit, tend to keep liking it.
You gotta be careful or you'll have 8 seasons of DVDs of a show you don't like sitting on the shelf

she will agree not to watch DH. Sports are a much worse commentary on society than DH.

Just kidding. Hey, it gives you leverage to do something you like. Or tell her the repugs love that show -- maybe she'll get an aversion to it.
