Helpful household hints: Did you know that
Paper matches make excellent wicks in old candles with dead wicks, if you dip them in some melted paraffin before lighting them?

Any other useful/useless tips?

1. If you close the door to your bedroom....
...you don't have to make the bed all day long! :hi:

3. mmm... there's nothing like a nice firm wick.
Housework becomes less urgent if you take your glasses off.

4. Keep the cats out of the guest bedroom.
If you don't, they'll yack on the bed and you'll have to clean it before the guests arrive.

7. The cats or the guests?
My cats are on welfare -- they can't afford rent on the room.

10. If you like the cold, and your spouse likes the heat, get an air
conditioner at at yard sale for $10.00 -- direct the output into your computer room, and the butt end into the other part of the house. The condenser coils generate heat while they're cooling your room and computers! Note, however, that you should probably have something under the A/C to collect the condensation.
