Here in California Columbus Day is just an annoying day when you can't figure out why the mail didn't come. It's similar to Veterans day - but doesn't have quite the same negative vibe, because, at least, we DID get Veterans Day off of school when we were kids; not so Columbus Day.

My community college is closed Monday and Tuesday for fall break. Yipppeeeeee! :bounce:

I gotta take my aunt to the va Tuesday morning and do my homework tomorrow, but I planned to spend some quality time with the DU family and I intend to do that as much as possible until I have to start back into the drudgery of daily English and math homework from hell.
