Asian quake. Rescuers are trying to save people.
You mean they actually rescue their citizens on the second or third day in some countries? Wow, who would have thunk it?

3. Well, thank you.
I was amazed to see that other countries actually care about their citizens and wave government red tape if someone wants to rescue their citizens, unlike life here in Bushtianville. I just had to say something about it.

5. It is sad that our country is the one that looks like a 3rd world country
when it comes to rescue, recovery and rebuilding.

6. So true. Have your heard about the recent
UN report that says that America has just as much poverty as many third world countries if not more? I knew it was bad, but this takes the cake.

7. I had not heard that, but sadly, it does not surprise me
I have been to places like Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, where the residents almost literally have less than nothing.

2. Amazing, huh?
It's so sad though -- last count I saw was over 20,000 dead.

4. They have suffered 2 major calamities in the past year
that I know of anyhow. I feel for them. I sure wish they could save the ones alive now at least. I sure wish our government had allowed Al Gore and others who were offering to save our citizens to proceed without red tape.

8. But they have to have the red tape
otherwise, too many of the "wrong type" of people would be saved. Doesn't it seem that way?
